METHOD

  1. Drain the cans of chickpeas, saving the water for your 7 table spoons as part of the recipe
  2. Place all the ingredients into a food processor or other mixing device
  3. Blitz until the mixture is your preferred hummus consistency
  4. Serve and sprinkle some chopped coriander on top

Freezes and defrosts very well.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tsp  / 6g smRt dulse
  • 2 x 400g cans chickpeas
  • 4 tsp tahini
  • 2 tsp sun-dried paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
  • 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 7 tbsp water from the chickpea cans
  • Handful chopped coriander (1/2 a supermarket packet)
