Who knew great-tasting hot dogs could be healthy?

METHOD

  1. Press the tins of chickpea with the lid to remove the water
  2. Place all the ingredients in a food processor or other mixing device
  3. Blitz!
  4. To make the falafelages, spoon some of the mix onto cling film and roll like sushi, or shape them by hand
  5. Fry until golden brown, like sausages :-).

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 level tsp / 8g smRt stock
  • 2 x 400g tins chickpeas 
  • 1 large red onion (or 2 small)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 25g parsley
  • 4 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tbsp whole black cumin (or ground cumin)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil for frying
